Quadir got the game messed up! He was the true meaning of having his cake and eating it too. Im a firm believer of everything happens for a reason and him getting arrested that night was just what she need. Shoots with friends like Alexis, who even needs enemies?! Every time I saw her, it would have been on site! I loved Hector but I didn't like how he let Justice get blindsided by Ciena. Though they weren't in a relationship, his daughter should have been at the forefront of a conversation especially after he proposed. It's true, the ones to always snake you out are family and so called friends. Ciena must not remember who she dealing with because she wouldn't even live to see the day to step foot in court. Justice gone be alright because Sa'bre and Ma Dukes gone make sure she protected. Good read I really wish this was a standalone. Only because I don't want to wait to find out what's going to happen next. Man I wasn't feeling this book at first bc it started off on a slow beat but once I got to the part when Hector ended the story everything just flowed so well. The where parts that I read about Justice that had me in tears big time. It one part I can't get out my head and that's If I could go back and hug my younger self and save her I would. Its hard trying to heal old wounds when fresh ones appear in their place.That really hits home to. I'm so messed up in the head bc of the same things this character went threw.
